Flights
Dunedin International Airport is situated 30 kilometres south of Dunedin city and is an approximate 30 minute drive.
There are daily flights to/from Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch, and regular direct Trans-Tasman flights to /from Brisbane with seasonal direct flights from Melbourne and Sydney.
Christchurch international airport has direct international links with Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Tokyo, Bangkok, Dubai and Singapore.
Auckland international airport has direct international links with: Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, Singapore, Hong Kong, Osaka, Tokyo, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Taipei, Seoul, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Honolulu, Vancouver, Santiago, and London.

Note: It is recommended that applicants apply for their visa at least 6 weeks before they intend to travel. In some countries Immigration New Zealand does not have visa processing services so it is important that the applicants allow sufficient time for the applications to be sent to the appropriate office and for the passports to be returned.
Travel to and from the Airport
Dunedin Taxis is the University’s Preferred Supplier for Taxis and Shuttle Services in Dunedin.
Shuttles: a flat rate of NZD$24.00 per person for an airport shuttle transfer. To book a shuttle prior to your arrival in Dunedin please go to www.dunedintaxis.co.nz/bookings – identify yourself at time of booking as a visiting delegate of the AI/PRIMA2013 CONFERENCE in the “Pick up Address” box on the form. This will ensure the special rate is fixed into your booking, and one of their call centre staff will confirm this back to you by email.
Taxis: it will cost approximately NZD$70 from the airport into Dunedin city.
